Nissan Titan: Quarter Mile Times, Videos, and Pictures

I purchased a 2004 Nissan Titan in October of 2004 and have been enjoying the truck ever since. Here are a hand full of pages detailing some of the fun I and some others have had with the Titan.

My Latest Quarter Mile Runs - June 10th 2005

I finally got back out for my second series of quarter mile runs. This time I brought my camera and recorded a few of the 18 runs that night. Truck has just past 10,000 miles, still stock if you don't count the custom camera bracket as a performance mod. (Next time I'll secure it a bit better, some videos get a little wobbly.)

Sound and looks aren't everything. Was paying too much attention to racing to remember what I was up against. "Stomp on 3rd light. Stomp on 3rd light. Stomp on 3rd light." All I saw was his spoiler, glad to see excess plastic put to good use.

If you want to see a mustang beat the snot out of the Titan watch the one above, don't waste your time downloading this one. Sure a lot of those around, never cared for the body style. (I love the 60s Mach body style.) "Stomp on 1st light, break on 2nd, stomp on 3rd" Not a recommended technique. I'm kidding. Just a view of waiting before staging. Is that a VW Bug on the windshield? (He was running a respectable 18 sec.)

Nitrous Powered Titan Quarter Mile Times

These are of a nitrous modded Titan owned by "the head". His best 1/4 mile time with nitrous is 13.74. Not sure what times he got in these vids.

January 16th 2005 - First time out a the track. My all time best run of 15.418 seconds occurred that day. (Beginner's luck? Can't seem to go much below 16 now.)
